Among my wishes for Vivienne is that she will love food. Okay, I'll settle for liking food. Avery eats only because he's hungry or we're forcing him to eat. This does not compute. Looking back, I would not do anything differently about how we introduced food to him. He just doesn't like it.
So, here we go again. Vivi seemed to enjoy eating but could not figure out the mechanics of keeping the cereal in her mouth and swallowing it, which is very typical, so all of her cereal ended up in the bib. Such advanced skills take practice. She's eaten a handful of times since and seems to be getting better at it. She does seem to enjoy sitting in the high chair as it offers a new perspective on her house.
