april iphone dump

Playing around with Vivienne in the dressing room at Lululemon

Meeting up with Viv at Avery's soccer practice. It's a nice face to see at the end of the day. She was super cold in the 60 degree weather. Resting on my lap.

Racing at Dave and Busters. There is a cut out of one of my coworkers that we made and he shows up in random places. Avery helping Viv with her button. Viv trying hard not to nap. The organizer. The organizer.

Texting with Nikki. I had a meeting at Mile High Stadium and it made me think of Avery. Small hand in the mirror. Cruising.

Healthy dinner at Steve's Snappin Dogs. At least we rode our bikes. Playing. We got a new dishwasher, they got a new fort.

Chillin with my boy. Watching sports. Daddy took the kids to the zoo. They also got a train ride.

An evening in Northfield.

Viv in the bath. Kids in a box.

Boys at soccer. Referee Daddy. Girl party in my car. Annabelle joined us after we parked.

Sarah is a master parallel parker. Note to my loves from Chicago. How Daddy does hair when I'm gone. Avery was not interested in saying hello.

Cute graduate. Soccer lover. Goof ball.

Slide. Enjoying a quiet evening at home. Tickle party.

the running of the children

Sometime this spring, my mild mannered children changed into REGULAR kids. You know, the kind with endless energy at all times. No more naps and no more quiet evenings at home
Sometimes the crazy is so great before bed, that we have go out a run the energy out of them to get the to settle down
They are always game for a sprint down to Colfax and back
With some jumping games tossed in for good measure
On this particular evening, our good friend Dana was visiting and was more than happy to participate
Having them hold hands is one of the ways I keep them in the same shot
It's hard because Avery is SO much bigger than Viv
Viv is a tiny speck in the distance
Okay, they look tired enough to sleep now

nerds on the porch

I wasn't talking about Avery in the blog title, but rather the candy the kids were eating
Choosing which colors are the best

Ok, so not feeling the love tonight

He's so old

I'm sure I'll be seeing different versions of this face for the next decade or so
And this one
At least she was being sweet

mady's 3rd birthday | the party

Viv playing mud with Hannah

Not surprising, Avery stayed clean and chose a sport

Dirty princesses

Annabelle choosing just the right dress-up outfit for Viv

The famous Cassie Cocktail, pretty sure this is the only reason I got invited :)

All the ladies

Anyone else know of a 3 year old with a Starbucks themed party?

She finished that beer and moved on to juice
Who's ready for cake?

Waiting so patiently

Here comes the 3

Props to Cathryn for the cupcake decals

Happy birthday, Mady!

Blow!

Time to dig in

Delicious

Now on to presents

What could it be?
I'll give you one guess what I cropped out of this picture...your clue is in the next pic.

What a fun party!
Cathryn and Scott threw a great party to celebrate Mady's 3rd birthday! We are really excited to celebrate next year in their fully remodeled house with lots of room and more than one bathroom. The little girls played dress up and the boys only surfaced for cake. The mamas drank their fair share of Cassie Cocktail. It was a very fun party.

Happy 3rd birthday to my favorite Saturday morning Starbucks cohort! We all love you very much.

mady's 3rd birthday | portraits

Birthday girl, Mady
She's my goofy buddy

She had a little cold and even though I typically photoshop snot out of my pics, there is something about this that captures her on this day

Note to self: be more aware of items in the back ground.

Cathryn noted the trash can and made me move :)

Avery is huggy like Daddy
Who's 3?

I got a lot of good pics at Mady's party and needed to separate them somehow, so these are the 'portraits.'
