may iphone dump

Good little mommies. She loves her babies. Viv's last day of 'ghoul'.

Playing with the plastic crap at Walgreens. Um, yeah great idea to plant a flower in a painted, stinky shoe. I love how this kid plays. My dedication to getting primo recital tickets (camping on the sidewalk 2 hours early).

Awesome May weather.
Daddy love. Goofing around. Avery checking out the playground at his new school. Waiting for food truck food. Pentago.

Afternoon bike ride. Double pic (oops). Zooming down the ramp. Here she comes.

Selfie. What usually happens on longer bike rides. Home for dessert.

Living in a condo does have its perks (the view of the recycling truck can't be beat). Not what I had in mind. Killer parking spot.

Old school Frito Lay truck. Kalamazoo Grandma. Mady dressed herself. Nerd. Reading to her baby.

Liks with Eli. The whole gang.
It's a biscuit place during the day.

Serious gamers. Even Erin gets a Zingo card.

So exciting that the horse's shoes matched Vivienne's!

Putting the concert ticket in my pocket. Girls. Having a bite to eat.

Playing ping pong with Grandma Carole. Testing how many times she'll chase the ball. Power tongue. Power tongue junior. Finally, a hit! He wanted to play this forever.

You put your head in. You put your head out.

Good night.

avery and annabelle

I love capturing these little moments between the kids. Even though they are getting older and their interests are diversifying, I think it says something that Avery and Annabelle still love each other very much - but in a purely platonic way, don't go dreaming about their super tall, amazon children (both of them are tall balls).

To celebrate Reuben's 3rd birthday, everyone headed to Denver Urban Farms for some down home fun. These horse tire swings were a big hit, especially when Grandpa Arlin was pushing.

Would you look at that...Avery feeding a sheep!

With his bare hands
Petting a horse's ass
And then he actually went into the goat pen

The only way to travel
Geared up for the horseback riding
Up you go

Get on up there, boy!

All set
When went all by herself, no whining!

Happy birthday, Binsky!

shanes | tiny town

Super loud steam whistle

Engineer Vivi

The conductors were kind enough to let the kids sit in the driver's seat - it pays to get places early or or first

Conductor Avery

Yup, really loud

Kathryn getting all artistic with her photography :)

Really, super duper loud

Not sure who's more excited

Getting ready to ride. My kids chose to ride in the caboose...without me.

Embassy Tweets!

Predictable

Good buddies

Tiny Town was the best adventure of the long weekend. I love this place. It is lots of fun for the kids and is nestled in a fantastic part of the mountains - cool, woodsy and beautiful. Although, some of the little houses need some TLC or maybe even an architect.

Needless to say, having Kathryn and Eli here is a trip we will always remember. Who ever thought in 3rd grade when I wanted to tape record Kathryn and play it for her mom because she was so mean to me that we would eventually wind up vacationing with our children, pointing out each and every piece of construction equipment??? We have built a life time of memories together and I know there is much more to come. Until next time...
