july iphone dump

A secret adventure with my favorite boy. A pocket of nature within the city. Early morning breakfast at St. Mark's so Daddy can sleep. Little Lou, Boo-Berry Boo.

I regret with every fiber of my being letter her sit in the front seat for a car picnic because she asks to sit up there every. single. time we get in the car and cries when I say no. TV is totally good for kids. The birthday present of her choosing. How I watch ballet class. Avery's 'black' eye.
Nikki's pedicure shop. 4 inches off! Pedicure shop part 2. Measuring how much sippy cups hold.

Auntie Sarah with her favorite boy. Birthday girls. Tea party. Fresh manicure.

The girls. Princess tea party. Here comes the pink. Can you find Vivienne?

Finally facing forward. Avery posed himself and then edited this picture. Watching the Direct TV guy. Like father, like daughter. Working hard. Holding hands with friends.

We use it. Surprised to find out that I have a manager, glad it's Sarah. The new shower procedure with the world's loudest crutches. Fine Art. Guess who picked this out for me?

Playing at the park.

He's mirroring what he sees Scott and I do. Oh yeah, it's a picture of Daddy with crutches. First drive-in movie! Goof ball.
"Woodchip" quite possibly my favorite iphoto EVER - I can't get enough of that cute bottom. "When I get frustrated, I will not have a fit. I will try to calm down by breathing and counting to ten. I will not scream. I will not cry." Written by Avery after a massive tantrum that made Nikki cry.

costco

Poor Daddy, had to use the scooter because he tore his miniscus playing soccer. Surgery is forthcoming.
Sampling some of the delicacies

It's a popular name.
Vivi's stuck in jail.

The scooters are really, really slow.

They had Vivienne's on sale.

last soccer game

I thought I could take my own posed soccer shot and this is what I got. Please note the stink eye.
He much rather be doing this than posing for a picture

Spectating
The best part of the day was watching Avery's team play Ved's team

Score!

He doesn't like soccer at all.
It's a Ved/Avery showdown!
Go boys!

So glad there isn't a kid standing in front of that foot

Celebratory tunnel
Soccer buddies

Despite the temperature nearing 200 degrees without a cloud in sight, we braved the conditions to watch Avery play his last soccer game of the summer season. I have never seen him sweatier, or happier. While I cheered from the sidelines, I couldn't help but notice how much pure joy Avery has when he plays soccer. He really keeps at it and his perseverance is truly admirable. Even though Ved plays in the same league, the boys are not on the same team, but their teams played together today. It was fun cheering for both of them and watching them do such big kid things.

swimming with the itens

Vivienne loves her some Annabelle. She's a big girl, you know.

Not so interested in the group shot.

This is the best I could get of the four of them

The big kids stayed in the lazy river almost the whole time, floating along in their ducks.

My happy little duckling

They did many of their laps by themselves, but it was pretty easy to keep tabs on those little ducklings floating along.

Luckily, they travel in pairs.
And kept an eye on each other.

ballet

Thought I would bring my camera to another ballet class.

To get a few more images of our tiny ballerina

Doing such things as somersaults

Passe
Releve'
And arabesque
Little did I know, that at the end of parent/tot the teacher would announce that Vivienne was ready for the next level and would she like to try tap
Through my surprise, I said yes and then she was in tap shoes for the first time attending class by herself
And I was forced to watch her on a closed circuit tv in the waiting room.

party | presents

Here comes the girl toys!!!
What could it be???
Kitchenware to go with her new kitchen!!!
Getting a little help from Reuben
It wouldn't be a party without a princess crown
and a...
magic wand!
Brother helping her open a new baby. He wanted to name it Maga, so we settled on Maggie.

Vivienne loved Maggie immediately

and takes such good care of her:

We really want to thank everyone who made the trek out to Golden to celebrate Vivienne's 2nd birthday. We cherish having such wonderful family and friends who are dedicated to our family and to celebrating all of these important milestones with us. We have one hell of a village.
