Kathryn was teasing me one day, saying that I needed to 'embrace the mess' that kids make. She was specifically talking about letting Avery bake a cake with me, but Avery happens to be a very tidy child. It's Thing 2 who concerns me and I worry that she won't do any baking until well into elementary because I fear the resultant mess. However, I might be relaxing a bit because instead of cleaning up as she um...played with her dinner, I grabbed the camera. Baby steps.
