snooze

Since Viv and Daddy were breakfasting together and Avery didn't have school, we decided to hit Snooze, in our jammies. Initially Avery was fairly unconvinced that was okay to go out in his jammies (what a square) but I persevered and we had a great time. We played Uno and when breakfast arrived, it looked like he was actually going to eat! He dipped his breakfast sandwich, took a few bites, ate a few nibbles of pancake and then, went back to his game. Maybe I'll find it hilarious when he actually starts extracting pleasure from eating, rather that simply fueling his body. Regardless, it was an awesome date with my soon-to-be 5 year old.
