Lake Michigan was by far my favorite part of the vacation. The kids loved playing in the sand, and the grown ups loved the bloody mary's and relaxing. Viv would not go into the water, but was content to play in the sand the entire time. Avery and I went and played in the waves and it was one of those moments I want to remember forever. We yelled out names for small, medium and big huge waves (pebble, peaner jelly, and jamba juice respectively) and just laughed and played until we were exhausted. It was such a magical time with my son having fun and enjoying being together. We finished up our beach adventure with some treats and headed back to Sarah's for a much needed nap. It was the perfect way to end our vacation.
