Right to work. No moon sand in kindergarten!

We don't take for granted that Avery is the kind of kid who doesn't even blink when we send him to a different school every year. Even though we love Teller, the kindergarten program at Palmer was a much better fit for him academically. Plus, his good friend Lily made the switch as well. We are so excited about this year and his teacher, Mrs. Silva is incredible. Scott and I toured the school last year a few days before summer vacation and she seemed as excited and invested in the kids as if it had been the first day of school. Plus, the students were mature, autonomous, and working hard. They were all excited about their accomplishments and seemed to be having a great time. Scott and I knew immediately that it was the right place for Avery and so far, it has been. He is thriving and the work that comes home is amazing. Even though I had to make a few calls to get the kids a second recess, Palmer has been a great choice.
