We took the kids out for their first time skiing and they did great! We also proved that you shouldn't teach your own kids such things as skiing. I had enough time to snap a few pictures and then run to the bottom of the hill to catch Viv, while Avery tested Scott's patience. They are definitely ready for formal lessons.
